This session regards applied research on new technologies, modelling, signal processing and audio reproduction, virtual soundscape experiences. It aims to collect and discuss projects and case studies characterized by experiences of auralisation and acoustic reconstruction of spaces and buildings with particular historical and/or architectural value.
Researchers are invited to present practical implementations of auralisation strategies in room acoustics, sound design and virtual reality, with special interest for the acoustic heritage of places like theatres and auditoria where new acoustic scenarios and aural experiences for music other performing arts can be created.
